Does submitting the form create an attorney-client relationship?
No. An attorney-client relationship begins only if you and a lawyer sign an engagement agreement. Divorce Counsel Match is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.
What information should I leave out?
Do not include Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, medical records, children’s full names, your spouse’s full name, or documents from your case. A lawyer can tell you how to share sensitive information securely after you connect.
What if I have a court date or safety emergency?

What should I check before hiring a lawyer?
Ask about the lawyer’s relevant family-law experience, fees, who will handle your matter, and how communication works. You can also verify the lawyer’s license and public discipline history through the state bar before signing an engagement agreement.
